The Making of Addie's Baby Fall 2016 Window Display: Part 2

In our last post, we listed four easy steps to get started with designing a window display. To quickly recap; do research for inspiration, sketch out design drafts, set your budget, and go shopping! In this post, we are going to show you how we put all our materials together and created the finished Addie's Baby Paint & Sip Studio Fall 2016 window display!

Step Five: Gather all the items you plan to use near your workspace.

Step Six: Prep and customize any items before starting the construction. We spray painted plastic buckets silver to look like paint cans!

*We hot glued this silky fabric into the buckets, so when hung it gave the effect of paint pouring out!*

Step Seven: Begin the process of putting together the display. Feel free to try different angles and placements until it's to your liking.

*In our case, we went from top to bottom, but it the starting point depends on the design you're creating*

Step Eight: Stop to take a step outside every once and a while to see how the items look from the street.

*Use small items as fillers, if you have open spaces.*

Step Nine: Take a step back and admire your hard work!

This is the finished product. Stop by the studio to see our fall window in person!
